Facility Utilization And Employability Skills Acquisition Among Undergraduates Of Agricultural Education In Universities

This study focused on the facility utilization And Employability Skills Acquisition Among Undergraduates Of Agricultural Education In Universities using Lagos state university as case study. The study is was specifically focused on examining the extent to which: Agricultural Education undergraduates acquire employability skills, Infrastructural facilities utilization influences employability skills acquisition among undergraduates of Agricultural Education, Instructional facilities utilization influences employability skills acquisition among undergraduates of Agricultural Education and Library facility utilization influences employability skills acquisition among undergraduates of Agricultural Education.

The study adopted the survey research design and randomly enrolled participants in the study. A total of 100 responses were validated from the enrolled participants where all respondent are staff and student of Lagos state university.

The main objective of this study was to ascertain the facility utilization And Employability Skills Acquisition Among Undergraduates Of Agricultural Education In Universities. Specifically, the study was designed to examine the extent to which:

  1. Agricultural Education undergraduates acquire employability skills.
  2. Infrastructural facilities utilization influences employability skills acquisition among undergraduates of Agricultural Education
  3. Instructional facilities utilization influences employability skills acquisition among undergraduates of Agricultural Education
  4. Library facility utilization influences employability skills acquisition among undergraduates of Agricultural Education
  5. Information and communication technology (ICT) facilities utilization influences employability skills acquisitions among undergraduates of Agricultural Education.

The following questions were answered while addressing the purpose of this study:

  • What is the extent of employability skills acquisition among Agricultural Education undergraduates?
  • does infrastructural facilities utilization influence employability skill acquisition among Agricultural Education undergraduates?
  • To what extent does instructional facilities utilization influence employability skill acquisition among Agricultural Education undergraduates?
  • To what extent does library facilities utilization influence employability skill acquisition among Agricultural Education undergraduates
  • Does utilization of infrastructural, instructional, library, and ICT facilities has jointly influence on employability skill acquisition among Agricultural Education undergraduates?
