Abstract
This study was carried out to examine instructional delivery problems encountered by agricultural science teacher in Taraba State, Nigeria. The study was specifically carried out to ascertain whether lack of adequate instructional materials affects effective instructional delivery among agricultural science teacher in Taraba State, ascertain whether lack of adequate classroom facilities affects effective instructional delivery among agricultural science teacher in Taraba State, ascertain whether practical facilities affects effective instructional delivery among agricultural science teacher in Taraba State, ascertain whether students poor attitude affects effective instructional delivery among agricultural science teacher in Taraba State, and ascertain whether lack of field tribe and school farm affects effective instructional delivery among agricultural science teacher in Taraba State. The survey design was adopted and the simple random sampling techniques were employed in this study. The population size comprise of Agricultural science teachers in some selected secondary schools in Taraba State. In determining the sample size, the researcher conveniently selected 57 respondents and 50 were validated. Self-constructed and validated questionnaire was used for data collection. The collected and validated questionnaires were analyzed using frequency tables. While the hypotheses were tested using Chi-square statistical tool. The result of the findings reveals that lack of adequate instructional materials affects effective instructional delivery among agricultural science teacher in Taraba State. The study also revealed that lack of field tribe and school farm affects effective instructional delivery among agricultural science teacher in Taraba State. Therefore, it is recommended that the State Post-Primary Education Board (SPEB) should design programmes that will equip the State"s teachers of agriculture in the use of the instructional strategies (i.e. learning-by-doing approach and the guided discovery approach) as recommended in the National Policy on Education (2004). To mention but a few.

The overall aim of this study is to critically examine the instructional delivery problems encountered by agricultural science teacher in Taraba State, Nigeria. Hence, the study will be channeled to the following specific objectives;
- Ascertain whether lack of adequate instructional materials affects effective instructional delivery among agricultural science teacher in Taraba State.
- Ascertain whether lack of adequate classroom facilities affects effective instructional delivery among agricultural science teacher in Taraba State.
- Ascertain whether practical facilities affects effective instructional delivery among agricultural science teacher in Taraba State.
- Ascertain whether students poor attitude affects effective instructional delivery among agricultural science teacher in Taraba State.
- Ascertain whether lack of field tribe and school farm affects effective instructional delivery among agricultural science teacher in Taraba State.
Hypothesis of the Study
Ho: There are no instructional delivery problems encountered by agricultural science teacher in Taraba State, Nigeria
Ha: There are instructional delivery problems encountered by agricultural science teacher in Taraba State, Nigeria.
