Overview
ABTRACT
This work is on mobile reading lamp with phone charger which is a rechargeable source of light which uses AC source to recharge; the stored energy is to be used when there is power outage. It also serves as immanency sources of light mostly used when there is failure from out public power supply at night.
This device not only useful in the time of power cut but also at your workbench you can use this circuit to check or testing of your electronic projects. Mobile phone batteries can be charged with the help of these circuits.
CHAPTER ONE
1.0 INTRODUCTION
Mobile reading lamp is a portable lighting device or mounted light fixture used to illuminate broad areas. Lanterns may also be used for signaling, as torches, or as general light sources outdoors. Low light level varieties are used for decoration. The term “lantern” is also used more generically to mean a light source, or the enclosure for a light source.
Rechargeable lights are very useful electrical gadgets and are quite popular, too. During a power failure these portable lights are able to instantly illuminate through battery back up and never allow us to stumble in the darkness. Although you will find a variety of them in different shapes and sizes in the market, but building your own emergency light at home can be a totally different experience. It will not only help you to create a quality design but also will acquaint you to the technical aspects of the unit. Besides, you also get an opportunity to customize the circuit as per your own needs.

1.4 LIMITATION OF THE PROJECT
The circuit which is explained below work on 5v regulated voltage and provide sufficient amount of current for the slow charging of your mobile phones.
